1. Overview
At Marble Keys, operated by Gazelle Internet OPC Pvt. Ltd., we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the permanent deletion of your Marble Keys account and all associated data from our platform — whether you accessed Marble Keys via our website or our Android / iOS mobile application.
Once your account is deleted, your profile, property listings, saved searches, and in-app messages will be permanently removed from the platform. This action cannot be reversed.
2. Who Can Request Account Deletion
- Any registered User of the Marble Keys platform — including property owners, buyers, tenants, and real estate agents — may request deletion of their account at any time.
- The request must be made by the account holder themselves using the registered email address associated with the account.
- Third-party requests on behalf of another User will not be processed without verifiable proof of authorisation.
- If you are an Agent with active paid subscriptions or featured Listings, please review our Refund and Cancellation Policy before submitting a deletion request.
3. How to Delete Your Account — In-App
You can delete your account directly from within the Marble Keys mobile app by following these steps:
- Open the Marble Keys app on your Android or iOS device.
- Tap on your Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap "Delete My Account".
- Read the confirmation prompt carefully. You will be informed of what data will be deleted.
- Enter your account password to confirm your identity.
- Tap "Confirm Deletion". Your deletion request will be submitted immediately.
Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.
4. How to Delete Your Account — By Email
If you are unable to access the app, you may submit a deletion request by email:
- Send an email from your registered Marble Keys email address to gazelleinternet@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line: "DELETE ACCOUNT"
- Include the following in the body of your email:
- Your full name as registered on Marble Keys
- Your registered email address
- Your registered phone number
- Reason for deletion (optional but appreciated)
- Our team will verify your identity and acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your verified request.
5. What Data Is Deleted
Upon successful account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and bio.
- All property Listings posted under your account, including photos, descriptions, and pricing.
- All in-app messages and enquiries associated with your account.
- Your saved properties, search history, and preferences.
- Your agent profile and reviews (if applicable).
- Any notification preferences and marketing consents linked to your account.
6. What Data Is Retained After Deletion
In certain circumstances, we are required to retain limited data even after your account is deleted:
- Transaction Records: Payment and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years in compliance with Indian tax and accounting regulations under the Companies Act 2013 and GST laws.
- Legal Obligations: Data required to comply with a court order, government directive, or ongoing legal proceeding will be retained for the duration required by law.
- Fraud Prevention: In cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service, we may retain relevant records to protect the integrity of the Platform and other Users.
- Anonymised Data: Aggregated or fully anonymised data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.
- Backup Systems: Residual copies of your data may remain in encrypted backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion before being fully purged.
7. Active Listings and Paid Subscriptions
- If you have active property Listings at the time of deletion, they will be unpublished immediately upon account deactivation and permanently removed within 30 days.
- If you have an active paid subscription or featured Listing, please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy to understand your refund eligibility before proceeding.
- Account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a paid plan.
- Any pending enquiries or conversations linked to your Listings will be closed and the counterparty notified that the Listing is no longer available.
8. Reactivation and Re-Registration
- Once your account deletion is confirmed and processed, it cannot be reactivated. All data associated with the account will be permanently erased.
- If you wish to use Marble Keys again after deletion, you will need to create a new account from scratch. Previous Listings, messages, ratings, and history cannot be recovered.
- If your deletion request has been submitted but not yet processed (within the 30-day window), you may cancel it by writing to gazelleinternet@gmail.com with the subject "CANCEL DELETION REQUEST" before the processing deadline.
